Welcome to my photography site.
A bit about me - I have been in my country of birth - India, specifically in its capital - New Delhi, always.
Photography has always interested me and I have been clicking off and on since the early 90's. Initially I began clicking during one of my holidays, and then on a regular basis in about 2003. And just a few sessions of happy clicking later I knew I was onto something I really wanted to do. That’s when I moved on from being just a casual snap shooter to a creative photographer…
My photographs are my way of capturing all that’s interesting about life; photography to me is about capturing an image, not just producing it. That’s the thought with which I begin and the rest follows.
Nowadays I attempt both traditional as well as experimental photography, and take photos on a daily basis – even if one. I take my cue from movements, moments, shapes, situations and excitement that suddenly surfaces sometimes.
People, landscapes, products, wild life, specifically birds, architecture (more of old world, heritage buildings and their surroundings), street life…are of interest to me. I also take on assignments that are within my scope.
